AmazonPrime Video has announced its upcoming Original drama series, Storm, (a working title), marking an exciting new collaboration with Hrithik Roshan and his banner HRX Films (under which he had co-produced the 2019 success, Super 30). This is a division of his father Rakesh Roshan’s Filmkraft Productions. 

Created and directed by Ajitpal Singh, from a story crafted by Ajitpal Singh, Francois Lunel and Swati Das, the series will be produced by Hrithik Roshan and Eshaan Roshan and marks the actor’s foray into the streaming space. 

Storm boasts a stellar cast led by Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma, and Saba Azad. With production scheduled to begin soon, Storm is a high-stakes thriller drama set against the backdrop of Mumbai and exploring secrets, ambition and survival.

After the late composer Roshan, his sons Rakesh and composer Rajesh Roshan, and Hrithik, Eshaan becomes the fourth generation from his family to enter the world of entertainment. Rajesh Roshan’s daughter, Pashmina, has become an actress too.

In January, on his 50^th birthday, Hrithik had also announced that he was turning director with Krrish 4, co-produced by Filmkraft Productions with Yash Raj Films. The film was to take off in October-November but is now slated to tale off early next year.
