Indian Ambassador to the United States, Vinay Kwatra, recently met with several lawmakers to express his gratitude for their support in enhancing India-U.S. collaboration across various fields.
Among those he met were Indian American lawmakers Ami Bera, Ro Khanna, Raja Krishnamoorthi, and Shri Thanedar, along with representatives Andy Barr, Deborah Ross, and Dr. Rich McCormick.
In his meeting with Bera, the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on the Indo-Pacific, Ambassador Kwatra highlighted their discussions on deepening the India-U.S. partnership across multiple sectors and addressing global issues of shared interest, commending Bera’s longstanding contributions to the relationship.
Regarding his conversation with Khanna, Co-Chair of the House India Caucus, Kwatra described it as an enriching dialogue focused on further strengthening the India-U.S. Comprehensive Global and Strategic Partnership. He recognized Khanna’s efforts in fostering a robust India-U.S. alliance.
Kwatra also extended his gratitude to Krishnamoorthi for his support in advancing bilateral ties and strategic issues of shared concern, and to Thanedar for his dedication to the growing partnership. Kwatra expressed his commitment to working with them to elevate the India-U.S. Comprehensive Global and Strategic Partnership to new heights.
