SAH Advertorial Submission Guidelines
Share Your Story with South Asian Herald
South Asian Herald (SAH) accepts advertorial submissions from businesses, organizations, institutions, professionals, and community groups seeking to share information about their products, services, initiatives, events, programs, achievements, or other activities with our readers.
Advertorials are paid promotional content and are separate from South Asian Herald’s independent news and editorial coverage. Published advertorials will be identified as “Advertorial,” “Sponsored Content,” “Paid Content,” or another appropriate disclosure to ensure transparency for readers.
Advertorial content should be informative, accurate, professionally written, and relevant to SAH’s readership.
Advertorial Content
- Word Count: Under 1,000 words
- Style: Informative, engaging, professional, and promotional without being misleading or making unsubstantiated claims.
- Content may include: Company or organization profiles, product or service information, events, initiatives, professional services, community programs, milestones, announcements, or other sponsored features.
- Structure:
- Clear and compelling title
- Introduction explaining the organization, initiative, product, service, or subject
- Relevant details, benefits, background, or supporting information
- Appropriate quotations, facts, statistics, or examples
- Contact information, website, or call to action, where applicable
Advertorial Options and Rates
South Asian Herald offers two options for advertorial publication:
- Publication-Ready Advertorial: $750
The advertiser, author, or sponsoring organization provides a completed, publication-ready advertorial of under 1,000 words that meets SAH’s submission guidelines. The fee includes editorial review, minor editing for grammar, clarity, style, and formatting, and publication on South Asian Herald. Substantial rewriting or restructuring is not included. - SAH-Written Advertorial: $1,050
South Asian Herald writes the advertorial based on information, background materials, and other content provided by the advertiser or sponsoring organization. The advertorial may be produced as an article or interview, depending on the subject and agreed format. The fee includes content development, writing, editing, formatting, and publication on South Asian Herald.
All advertorials are subject to SAH’s editorial review and publication standards. Advertorial fees apply exclusively to sponsored content and do not constitute payment for, or guarantee, independent editorial or news coverage.
Images
Please include high-quality images whenever possible.
- Quantity: Up to 3 images
- Format: JPG or PNG
- Resolution: Minimum 1500px on the longest side
- Captions: Include a brief caption for each image
- Credits: Provide photographer or source credit, if applicable
- Permissions: Submit only images you have permission to share
Submission Requirements
Please include:
- Completed advertorial in Word or Google Docs format for publication-ready submissions
- Name of the sponsoring business, organization, or individual
- Name and contact information of the person submitting the advertorial
- Relevant professional title and organization
- High-resolution photographs, logos, or other approved images, if applicable
- Photo captions and credits
- Website and relevant links, if applicable
- City, state/province, and country
- Disclosure of any relevant commercial relationships or interests
For SAH-written advertorials, the advertiser or sponsoring organization should provide sufficient background information, supporting materials, relevant links, photographs, and contact information needed to develop the article or conduct the interview.
Editorial Review
All submissions are reviewed by our editorial team.
Please note:
- Publication is not guaranteed.
- Articles may be edited for grammar, clarity, style, or length while preserving the author’s voice and viewpoint.
- Editors may request revisions or additional information before publication.
- South Asian Herald reserves the right to decline submissions that do not align with our editorial standards.
Advertiser Responsibilities
By submitting an advertorial, you confirm that:
- You are authorized to submit the content on behalf of the advertiser or sponsoring organization.
- The information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- Promotional, factual, statistical, or comparative claims can be substantiated where appropriate.
- Quotations are accurate and have been appropriately authorized or attributed.
- The submission does not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other third-party rights.
- You have permission to provide all photographs, logos, graphics, and other materials submitted for publication.
- Any relevant commercial relationships, sponsorships, or potential conflicts of interest have been disclosed.
- The content complies with applicable laws and advertising requirements.
- You grant South Asian Herald permission to review, edit, format, and publish the submitted materials as advertorial or sponsored content.
Advertorial and Editorial Independence
Purchasing or publishing an advertorial does not influence South Asian Herald’s independent news coverage.
Advertisers and sponsors do not receive editorial control over SAH’s independent reporting, and the purchase of advertising or sponsored content does not guarantee news coverage of an individual, business, organization, event, product, or initiative.
Likewise, SAH’s editorial decisions are made independently of advertising relationships.
