NUICC Launches South India Regional Chamber in Bengaluru to Boost U.S.–India Trade and Innovation

The National US–India Chamber of Commerce (NUICC) has launched its South India Regional Chamber in Bengaluru, India, on December 3, 2025, marking a significant milestone as the organization celebrates its 20th anniversary.

NUICC President and CEO Purnima Voria described the expansion as an important step in strengthening the chamber’s reach and impact. “NUICC is thrilled to begin this new chapter in South India. This milestone marks a significant expansion of our presence in one of India’s most dynamic and globally connected regions,” she said in a statement.

According to NUICC, the new regional chamber will function as a strategic hub aimed at:

  • Strengthening U.S.–India trade and investment
  • Connecting American companies with South India’s key industries
  • Supporting sectors including innovation, technology, manufacturing, aerospace, clean energy, and startups
  • Building stronger collaboration between businesses, government bodies, and international partners

In the statement, the organization highlighted Bengaluru’s reputation as the Silicon Valley of Bharat, describing the city as a place where “ideas transform into global solutions.”

The launch, it added, reinforces NUICC’s mission to advance economic growth and expand opportunities between the two nations.

NUICC also expressed appreciation to its partners, members, and supporters for their continued commitment over two decades, emphasizing its vision for many more years of “impact, innovation, and international cooperation.”
